Last Mass is the first (and only, so far) title in the Ginevra Casabuoni series by C.G. Griffin. This looks self-pubbed (Reyna's Press???) but I have personally read and liked this title via KU, enough that I am hoping Griffin will write another. (In the spirit of disclosure, I really really like historical mysteries, so am a bit biased...).
In any case,
Last Mass has been US Kindle Countdown in the past, and is KU, but it is also just plain FREE

right now at Kindle US, not sure why or for how long.
