9.7" vs. 13.3" e-ink e-reader for big pdfs

Hi!

I use Kindle DXG to read pdfs. Was quite satisfied but not altogether. It would not properly resize the document, fit to screen function, and percentage magnification is not sufficient.

Could someone, who has worked with other 9.7 readers with good options for magnifying the text on the streen, share his experience?

Do the more recent 9.7 ereaders handle pdf (image pdf, that is, pdf scanned and saved as contaning image of the text, not text itself) well enough? If not, I'll have to definitely consider buying 13.3 model. However, the option of the stylus in recent 9.7 models seems to be a good bonus, which is not yet available for 13.3. I also tried to read text 13.3 ipad pro, but found it not to be good for the eyes.
