I doubt that I could put my hands on it right now. Long story. Short version: most of my papers, including recipes, have gotten all mixed up and misplaced because of an incident.
If you really want it, I'll get my Mother to copy it and send it to me. I had given it a copy of it to her several years ago. Of course, after I tell her that the person who wanted it made a threat to slap her if she (you) didn't get the recipe, she might not be very forthcoming. ha
Funny (true) story . . . . I got the recipe from a woman who was a terrible cook. She couldn't boil water without scorching it (ha). But she made the most wonderful old-fashioned caramel cake! I've come to the conclusion that it is because you have to
burn sugar to an extent (caramelize it) in order to make the caramel icing, and she was good at burning stuff that she cooked! My mother is a great cook, but she cannot make that kind of caramel icing as well as the woman who gave me the recipe. haaha
