I failed at this several times, using different friends and browsers. The $5 works, but the $5 works on all new accounts without being referred. I haven't received the $10 credit and I can't be bothered to fight about it.
Although, I wonder if it is waiting for my friend to make a purshase after using the $5 credit they received.
