Welcome to Mobileread. I don't suppose you have access to the receipt? Otherwise you could always sell it on Gumtree/ebay/whatever, and buy a Kobo or other epub device so that you can borrow library ebooks. No library in Australia does Kindle borrowing (or anywhere outside the US, as far as I know).
