The glitch is probably because you turned the page shortly after the current one was displayed: the pre-renendering was probably not finished. It's now slightly longer since we've improved the rendering quality (a lot of people complained about issues in the color fidelity). We decided to put emphasis on color fidelity and do s small compromise on pure speed. Hope it's ok like that.

I doesn't seem to matter if I turn the page immediately, or if I wait a while (typical time it takes to read the page). It's no big deal though--it's barely noticeable. If I can't tune it out, I'll just turn it off.

I mostly use the EPUB3 engine anyway (no page-turn animation).
EDIT: After further experimentation, the "flash" I'm experiencing before the page-turn animation only happens when I "tap" to advance the page. Everything works smoothly and flash-free if I "swipe" to turn the page. If only I was a swiper and not a tapper!
