The recent update changed (modernized) the TCP secure protocol the device uses.
Unless you do that, it isn't going to work on modern websites, regardless of how you get there.

Why not follow these directions to install 3.4.2 on your DXG?
After all, one of their reasons for being here is to get a 'fixed' browser on the DXG.
