I had never bought an audiobook from Nook. But I bought this one. Big mistake. I found out after purchasing it that you had to have a Nook app (I could've lived with that) and the app is only available for Android and iOS. That I can't live with. Problem is, I want to listen using my Windows laptop. Why wouldn't Nook have an app for the Windows computer, like it seems that everyone else does? I have an Android phone, but it's having some kind of memory recognition issue that I haven't been able to troubleshoot and fix.
So, that's $3.99 down the drain. But I'll look on the bright side: I could have spent more than that on another audio and been out even more than $3.99. I "swore off" Nook ebooks after they wouldn't let us download ones in our libraries anymore; now I'm "swearing off" Nook audiobooks.
I'm wishing Barnes and Noble a swift demise (you could say that I hope that they meet their Waterloo. ha). I just hope that before they go I can get all of my ebooks that I bought from them.
