My apologies: my last post was both wrong and written in some haste.
The wrong bit: unless you are in the beta program you cannot upgrade to 5.1.1. You should upgrade to V5.1.0.5. Download the APK on your tablet and copy it to your Tolino. You do not need to crack it.
The haste: I think I didn't understand your question.
Are you saying that the 3-dots menu is not there at all? There isn't an empty spot that you can tap? That "CONNECT" is up against the right edge of the screen? If so, then something on your device is telling the Google libraries that CC uses that there is a hardware menu button on your device. Have you tried pushing all the hardware buttons to see if any of them bring up the menu?
If there is a space between CONNECT and the right side, what happens if you tap it?
Note that there isn't anything I really can do about this problem. I have two different eink devices and on both the three-dots are plainly visible, with or without e-ink corrections. I can't debug something that I can't see.
