I'm not downing the DX size in any way although I would like it a little lighter. This is definitely possible 6 years later. I prefer Sans serif fonts that the DX did not have. Today's DX equivalent would actually be smaller due to the lack of a keyboard.
If they do it it will be a buy for me!
