Hey, I got a little motivated so i tried going your .fpl file and I realised I was so naive to make that mistake. The Aa fonts showed Caecilia so I tried putting Caecilia alone in the original font Family.
And there was the mistake, I had to put Caecilia Regular aah... and it ran. Also, I renamed file in conf.d as 98-caecilia-regular.conf.
Anyways, I realised that trick after i went through your file, so i owe it to you.
