I don't think it's going to be as good as the best lcd's or amoled screens out there in terms of colour 'pop' but as long as it doesn't look washed out and utter crap then it should be fine.

Liquavista color doesn't pop like LCD but it is more saturated and much faster than eink. It is good enough for full motion video but not really suitable for tablets.
B&W resolution runs 400dpi or better.
Amazon has a patent for a dual layer display with medium resolution color atop high resolution b&w which would work well in an ebook reader.
