I'm having problems making or updating anthologies on my mac, running mavericks, with current FFF, EpubMerge, and Calibre.

I start the process, it does the download step, then when it gets to the step where epubmerge would be called, nothing happens, and the job stops. I've tried reinstalling calibre, FFF, EpubMerge. It's any anthology on any site, so it's not a function of what it's downloading. It only fails on my macbook, and works fine on windows (Windows 10, everything else current). I'm not really sure what would be helpful in troubleshooting or whatever else I can try. Any ideas?

Edit: The book is added to calibre, but blank. Clicking on it gives a no available formats error.
