I've seen a lot of posts about trying to keep from getting any updates after 5.6.5, after the jailbreak is installed. Is there a reason to try to keep from getting any updates if you already have the jailbreak installed? I installed the jailbreak on my Voyage about a month ago to get the screensavers hack, which I love, and I installed the 5.7.3 update and reinstalled the screensavers hack with no problems.

Last Thursday I spilled a little coffee on my Voyage and it eventually locked up (after trying the drying out thing, etc.). I got my replacement today, and fortunately it had 5.6.5 on it, so I was able to install the jailbreak (although it tried HARD to install an update when I originally turned on wifi to register the device). Anyway, I've got the jailbreak installed (with the hotfix), the screensavers hack installed, and airplane mode turned on right now as I start side-loading some of my books back on the new device. My long-winded question is, what are the reasons for not wanting to install 5.7.3 and beyond? I didn't notice any problems with it myself. Just want to make sure I didn't miss something important that would come back to bite me later.
