It's not easier if stores in the US don't carry Kobo gift cards. It seems to me that you're making your own life much more difficult by self imposed limitations. Don't want/can't get a credit card. Don't want to pay fees for a pre-paid credit card. Only want the fee free Kobo gift card. You know what they say, life's a B and then you die.

Rather than running around trying to find the elusive, often non-existent in the US Kobo gift card & wasting time, gas costs & effort why not pay $4.95 and be done with it.

Happy Kobo shopping. Happy life & happy reading but no, you'd rather stand firm that you want the gift card because it's "easier". Makes no sense to me.

If that still makes no sense to you, have a friend or family member with a credit card BUY you a Kobo gift card online for you to use on your Kobo account and give them the cash. OR drive to Canada hit just about any store: Shoppers Drug Mart, Chapters/Indigo, Best Buy, Walmart & buy the card yourself with the higher value US dollar and save a few bucks in the process. Check with Kobo first to make sure a Canadian bought card will work with a US Kobo account.

Other than that, I think you're pretty much S.O.L.
