Thats "normal" behaviour if wrong displaydriver is flashed. It can be solved by flashing the right ROM. As far as I know there are 2 versions of Icarus Illumina E653BK. One is with Carta screen the other with Pearl screen. You have to determine which screen type you have and find the right ROM for it.
