How to change margins when converting to Epub
I'm really partial to your middle duck having 3 similar ones myself. :-)
Here is the progress, or lack thereof, that I'm making with this problem.
I did some research and found the pixel size for the ebookwise is 320x480.
However, none of the conversion selections were that size or even close.
With all the books I've converted before these recent ones, I've used the Generic options for both input and output and the books have been perfectly readable.
I don't know how epub formats are created, evidently with various processes. However, I do understand what you mean about a scanned text. I'm assuming that would be similar to a copy of a page made on a copier. But I would think it would be possible to shrink that down a bit but maybe not.
So here's what I did since I received your response. I used the Generic input option and then made 35 copies of the same book because there are 35 output options. I then selected a different output option for each of those books. All 35 of them look identically the same when I try to read it on the ebookwise. The lines overflow and does the page.
Do you think I should go back and do the same for the input formats. I would dread the thought that I would have to make 35 copies for each of the input file options. Is there a way to find out what input format the epub file has so I don't have to make all those files?
Is there free software I could use to edit the margins on the input epub file?
I'm trying to cover all possibilities. :-) Thanks so much for your help.
