Who syncs anything? I transfer via computer and USB. Once it's converted, it stays in a library file that the other half can also use.
If I'm using the Android Acer A-500, all I need to do is plug in the USB, get to the ext. card, and copy and paste from downloaded file folders. I can use the same card (or copies thereof) in Calibre, whatever current phone I have, and in both the Nook and the Kobo.
The only problem with some Android readers is they want shelves, and I don't. I just want a list. So far FB reader lets me get to the file tree with the least hassle.
FB reader saves your page on Android. I opened a file after about a year and the page was still current. It hadn't started over.
I typically don't want reading information. I usually get too into what I'm reading to care. You bookmark a physical book, do you write notes on it?
