I don't think it really takes any experience at all.

Even though I would like to own a 9.7'' screen, I feel it might be a little bit cumbersome to use. I've always been clumsy handling big thick books.

When reading novels or books that don't require paper and pencil, I usually lay on my side and position the e-reader as seen on the attached image.
