That is the perennial problem -- how to tell users what CC can do in a way that doesn't make them annoyed. For newer stuff I have been adding the "help" dialog with the "Don't show this again" box. Perhaps I should start adding them for the older features.

Yes. CC doesn't record the size of the calibre library, even though in some cases it could know it. The information is of no use to me, so why keep it?
Also, the entries in CC can come from multiple libraries.
