I've been using that folder trick ever since it first appeared on here years ago

PW3 currently on 5.7.2.1 and so far so good though I normally have wifi off and only connect a couple of times a month for 5-10 minutes at most. Since I was going to manually upgrade to 5.7.3.1, I don't mind not doing so just yet and leaving wifi on for a few days to see if it auto-updates or not.
