I don't buy from Kobo, mostly from Amazon and from smaller places like Smashwords, but I always get a free updated version of previously purchased books from them. From Amazon, they automatically download whenever I connect with my Kindle for PC or my PW2. Places like Smashwords I have to login and get the new version, but it's still free. The only exception there would be the pricey textbooks that have a new edition put out yearly.

So Kobo does not give you the free update of ebooks that have corrected editions? Or is there a way to get it for free? Obviously I think those should be definitely be free.
