You may not care about the cover, but other (including myself) do care.

Yes, Kobo did it first and Amazon copied. Amazon is not being inovative. They are just copying what Kobo does because Kobo does it first and sometimes better. Even though the Kindle has a dyslexic font, you cannot adjust the weight so there is where Kobo does it better.
There are no bugs in the font handling and the formatting adjustments of Kobo Readers.
