If you can get the words and meanings into an appropriate format, then you can generate the dictionary. There is a dictionary thread in the developers section that should have the information you need.

2. I found the details view of the books, which I love as it has the summary of the story in the synopsis. Is it possible to manipulate the details and related view. I would like to add some of my calibre columns to the details and add books that are part of a series to the related view.

A beta version of my Kobo Utilities plugin can do that. The instructions are in
this post and the preceding few posts. But use the beta in
this post. Don't worry that it is a beta. It works fine, I've just been busy with other things and haven't released it properly.

Koreader uses the directory structure. If you can map your nested tags to directories, it should work.
