Buying books with super points

Does anyone know how things work from the seller's point of view when I buy a book at Kobo using super points?

The number of super points needed seems to be based on the list price of the book, not on the discounted price. Does this mean that the seller gets the same as they would if I had bought the book at list price?

E.g. If I use 4800 super points to buy a book that has a list price of $9.99 and a discounted price of $8.49 (15% discount), does the seller get more than they would if I bought the book with real money for $8.49?
