I assume that by Baen author we mean anyone who has been published by Baen, not someone who is Baen exclusively.

David Weber is probably my favorite, currently followed by Larry Correia.
Historically, Bujoid, Lackey and Pournelle have been favorites.

Some of John Ringo's stuff I really, really like, others not so much. (He kind of reminds me of Stirling in that respect). I like some of Drake, but not all.
