Hang about, I'm confusing the referral promos. Remember kobo did a 90% off refer a friend promo about this time last year - well I did that. But I'm not sure i've done a refer a friend for $5 promo ....
As others have said, it's just extraordinary that the money is put into an account and there's no accompanying explanatory email!
