Yes. For me it is too much worry to wait until something is free to purchase. If I want it now, I am going to get it now - if it is not free to buy it just gets borrowed. When I look at library books I will usually filter out any books that have a waiting list and see if I can borrow one right away.

The Kindle lending library overlaps with KU to some extend. So I usually don't look at that - the terms of KU suit me better. Won't strip DRM from KLL, just the Kindle First books that you get to keep and don't cost anything extra.
