Recipes for Love and Murder is the debut mystery in the presumably-going-to-be-a-series Tannie Maria series by Sally Andrew. The blurb says it's a cross between The #1 Ladies Detective Agency series and the Goldie Schulz series, which sort of thing always makes me suspicious, but it has been published by HarperCollins, so presumably it has at least been edited, and it has about 4 1/2 Amazon stars, so may be good. (I'm probably just cranky this morning...)
