Hello all, long time lurker, not because I don't care but because I don't have the necessary skills to provide good help.

I have a refurbished Energy Reader Pro (Boyue T62C) that is, to be honest, very lousy. However, the biggest issue I have is with WiFi, because it doesn't turn on. I've tried various firmwares (all designed for the T62C) including the official one for Energy and nothing. I activate the switch, the message "Activating Wifi" appears and then the switch goes back to the OFF position. I also tried the method were you delete certain files in /system/etc/wifi (the wpa suplicant) and nothing.

Now, I'm trying as hard as I can to avoid sending the reader back because of all the time it takes and the money involved (of which I'm terribly short). So, got any ideas? I'm open to tall, including physically opening this thing.
