Every time I went to Amazon, I could see a green box with text telling me that I needed to upgrade.
After "upgrading" my Kindle DX-G to the same software version number, I then had 3 documents on it from Amazon, saying that it had been updated and that everything was fine, hunkey-Dorey, and Jim-Dandy-To-The-Rescue.
I then upgraded my Kindle PW and my Kindle Voyage. I also checked my other devices to see if they were current.
Everything is now fine.
