Actually, you can only win now...as I have done. Backdated/backtimed wins are not actually wins because their effective date is automatically after the most recent post which doesn't allow them to become actual wins.

Then there is the issue of post dated wins (wins with a future effective date). These are not possible either because the win is only effective at the time it is posted, regardless of the date contained with says that it is actually effective on that date. If that were allowed, then all someone would have to do is post the win with an effective time of the very last event in existence of the universe. That, in turn, would lead to a leap-frog series of posts that would attempt to post the win after the very last event in the universe.

That would lead to the generation of a new universe just to contain the posts that are effective after the end of all existence. Then again, would it be a true win since it would require an answer to this question: If a win is posted and no one exists to read it, was it actually a win?
