David I went back and read your post again

You said ''If you have both "KoboTouch" and "KoboTouchExtended" installed, only one should be enabled. That means the jigsaw puzzle piece in front of it will be green. On my laptop both plugins are green.

Calibre has always been set up like this, it's only from this week that Calibre on my laptop doesn't see my SDCard.

I checked on hubbys laptop, which does see the SDCard inside the Kobo, and that is set up in the same way as mine, both the Kobo Touch and the Kobo Touch extended plugins are green. He is running Claibre 2.5.3 same as me.
