Okay, so Kobo is having what it's calling a Super Sale (well in AU and NZ anyway!). Up to 70% off and 5 x super points. Unfortunately with Kobo one can't quite determine whether the price is different from the norm or not, and certainly of the two books I tested one was the same price at Amazon and the other was over $1 dearer at Kobo than Amazon.
