My recent purchases were mostly of the "get the deal while you can" variety. A daily deal and some where I had to get the audiobook while I had the Kindle book from OverDrive in order to get the Whispersync price. Audiobooks are so expensive that it would be nuts not to take advantage of an exploding deal.

A cheap Whispersync indulgence is the early P.G. Wodehouse books, where if you're in the US you can get the Kindle book for free and the matching audiobook for $2.99. I get them as I need them and how sorry I'll be once I hit 1923!

This is the enablers' thread, isn't it?
