Oh, this new version of aaxtomp3 is perfect! Exactly what I needed! Thanks so much.

P.S. Can someone help? I changed the settings to a sample rate of 44100 Hz and a bit rate of 96000 bps to match the output I had been getting in SoundTaxi, but my result is a speeded-up mess. Maybe I'm supposed to put something in the ffmpeg output box, but I don't know what.

It converts fine if I leave the defaults.

P.P.S. Never mind. I've lowered the sample rate and at 22050 Hz and 96000 bps it sounds fine.
