When I first started buying eBooks, I bought MS Reader eBooks because I could strip the DRM. A lot of those eBooks have since become ePub due to Fictionwise/B&N.

I did buy some Mobi eBooks, but not many. Most that I got were of the free variety. Now it's mostly ePub with some KF8 (mostly free).
