Although Kobo's price match is in credit, not $, its still an incentive to be competitive. I'm glad they have it.

The problem for me is that you're conceivably betting a significant sum for a 10% payoff. "Roughly equal" odds aren't close to making that a decent bet. Other offsetting factors include on the one hand a preference for Kobo's ecosystem and/or epubs, but on the other a hassle and store credit. Not worth it.
