1. I'm probably not reading as much as I did in 2002, but much more than I've been reading since 2003 (circumstances changed dramatically that year). I jumped form 4-5 books/year to 20+ in the last 9 months or so, i.e., since I got my Sony PRS-505.
2. Absolutely. Being able to carry a whole library and not to worry about damaging the books (dirt, scratches, bends, dog-ears, etc) makes all the difference. Also, with the advent of e-books, I can find more of the literature I enjoy (mysteries).
3. Not at all, but it's a great place to find the latest news about e-readers and useful hints.
