I like the idea of rolling distros but whenever I've tried to use them in practice it's ended up being lots of work. Mind you I haven't tried for a couple of years.

Of course you're going to tell me it's easy-peasy and you never have any problems with bleeding-edge software etc. :P

Meanwhile I've hit a snag trying to build wine. There's an upstream Ubuntu bug that's stopping me installing both 32-bit and 64-bit libc6-dev.

Update: OK so winehq has an page on how to get around this problem, or there's a PPA. I think I'll try the later.
