Well I got the Kobo Aura H2O, and the difference in screen quality and contrast to the Inkpad was significant. Very happy with the screen on the H2O and it works great for reading comics in Koreader without doing any adjustments. I wish it had the 8" screen size, but you can't have it all.
So Inkpad out, H2O in, and I'm now happy with my reader.
