Ouch! I'd like to think that I'm not quite that mean, nj.

A wee chat about the rigors of Catholic educators:

Spoiler:
FYI: I have enlarged knuckles--not grotesque, thank heavens, but noticeable if one looks--to this day from my sterling education at the hands of nuns and Jesuits. I was, er....not devout, let's say. I graduated from the flat of the palm to the edge of the ruler/knuckles QUITE early on.

If you wonder about my Socratic methods--blame the Jesuits at St. Ignatius Loyola and Mt. St. Mary's. It's a miracle I didn't end up at a Cath. College. Thank God--I'd have ended up an entirely different person. That being said, however: if I'd reproduced, you can bet your bippy I'd have sent offspring to Catholic schools for the far better education than public schools, particularly nowadays. I have no regrets about the education, nor what the Jesuits <beat> instilled in me--the ability to question and to learn.
