I'm having a really odd issue that suddenly showed up, first with 2.5.2 and continuing after going to 2.5.3. If I try to open a file from within calibre, as soon as the cursor highlights a file (without actually clicking on it), the window goes white and calibre ceases to respond. I have to hit the Ctrl key so dialogue box to close program comes up. I finally uninstalled calibre and reinstalled older version (2.4.9) with the same results.

However, if I simply open Windows Explorer, right-click on a file and then select Open With calibre, there's no issue. So I'm really stumped on this one. Running Win 7 64 with lots of memory and hard drive space.

Should I note details of issue in dialogue window and send to...?
