Get $5 Amazon Credit for buying a $2.99 app -- exp 31 Mar @ 11:59pm PT

Quote:
Amazon is running a promotion where they’ll give you $5 Amazon credit when you purchase one of the following $2.99 apps:

* Relax Melodies Premium (Compatible w/ Fire TV 1)
* Five Nights at Freddy’s 4
* Photo Lab PRO
* Kingdom Rush Origins
* PAC-MAN HD
* Ticket to Ride

You can only earn the $5 credit once, so there’s no benefit in buying more than one of the above apps. The $5 credit will be applied to any Amazon order placed by April 7th as an “Appstore promo” discount. If you use promotional credit or Amazon Coins to purchase one of the above apps, you will still receive the $5 credit. Also, selecting “Cloud Only” when purchasing through Amazon’s website is perfectly fine. This is a great way to convert app credit or Amazon coins into generic Amazon credit, and make $2 extra in the process. You will receive an email (see below), informing you of the $5 credit, immediately after making the app purchase.

It's been awhile since I've spent any coins, so now's a good time for me to do so. That way I keep any coins due for expiration alive for another year.

I have a very hard time buying apps at Amazon, because there aren't any I really need. The free ones work great for me. In this promo, I already had three of them, so I went with "Ticket to Ride".

I spent 327 coins and did get a confirmation email crediting my Amazon account with $5:

Additional information on this offer can be found here.

Congratulations! You have earned a $5 promotional credit to use on Amazon.com. This credit will be automatically applied to your next purchase on Amazon.com and is valid through April 7, 2016. Limit one promotional credit per customer. When using a promotion to buy eligible products, the promotional funds will apply to your order automatically before another payment method is charged.

The promotional credit must be used by April 7, 2016. This offer is subject to Terms and Conditions.
