YouTube has a lot to answer for. IMHO there are very few cases where a video tutorial is more suitable than well written instructions. It is very frustrating to be looking for nice written information only to be met with a multitude of links to video tutorials. Particularly frustrating if, for instance, you are familiar with a process and are just seeking specific information, for instance a url. Picking what you want out of written instructions is quick and easy. Not so quick or easy to get from a video tutorial.
