It's a Kindle Touch (4th gen) @ firmware 5.1.2
There is no 5.1 or 5.3 firmware version.

There are these paths:
(5.1.2, 5.1.1, 5.1.2) -> 5.3.2.1 -> 5.3.7.3

I looked at only one of the set of four updates in 5.3.2.1 and there are one heck of a lot of files being update in that 1/4.

I did not look into 5.3.7.3 but its filesize is over 2* that of the 5.3.2.1 update.

Translation:
It is not just a new cacerts file.

You can use KindleTool to open ('extract') each of the Amazon update packages, and to open ('extract') each of the update_*.bin files that each update package contains.

A bit of script reading will tell you which files are being changed.

AND
You can pick and chose what you want on your PC (if you run a sane OS) to your own image, just use a version of bspatch built for your PC/OS.
