my idea was to login to amazon.com/mycd which shows you all converted documents. but unfortunately they didn't include a download button
just wanted to say k2pdfopt worked very nicely on a book style .pdf on purely default settings under wine
it is 110MB though, and is still in PDF format. but absolutely it is readable
pdftohtml had no configure file ? naturally, it wouldn't 'make' either
