Go to your Amazon account and double check that the device registration has not changed.
Then go to the 'device info' in the 'settings' and see if the registration shown there is the same.
The message you quoted is generated on the Kindle when the developer keys (which is what MKK contains) is erased.
And it may very well be **NOT** because of the jailbreak, but because it was able to connect to Amazon for the first time since you received it (and fixed the WiFi) -
Which was when it would have "discovered" that the person who gave it to you had un-registered it from their account.
Which of course would have erased the developer's keys (and MKK and generated the message).
So what else have you not told us?
