No.
It ends up with the 5.7.2 version and all user additions gone.
"user additions" - books, notes, mobileread add-ins, etc.

Stay away from 'factory reset' unless it is your only choice to throwing the Kindle in the junk bin.
Any condition other than 'already junk' will only be made worse.
