I think that could be leveraged.
Of course, it would probably take a
--create-corrupted option to KindleTool.
Somehow that doesn't feel right, after all the work and effort to make KindleTool do things bitwise correct -
to next give it an option that only copies the first half of the signature to the package . . . .
Plus - people would use that new option in strange ways.
